Gold vermeil or gold plated silver needs to be cared for. Hair and skin products can tarnish them, jewellery should be taken off when swimming or bathing. To clean we recommend using a silver dip solution as opposed to a cloth as rubbing can take off the plating. The pieces are plated to 3 microns which is a thicker than average plating and should last well, avoid keeping next to or with other jewellery as again the rubbing can cause the plating to wear more quickly.
