Summer 26 Drop, continuing the Maharishi’s exploration of nature, utility, and pacifist-military design through lightweight fabrics, relaxed silhouettes, and seasonal camouflage patterns.

The collection introduces DPM: Bamboo across staple silhouettes including Original Snopants®, reworking traditional camouflage through layered bamboo motifs inspired by nature rather than concealment. Lightweight fabrication and integrated Snocord® adjustment systems adapt Maharishi’s signature trouser design for warmer climates, with the camouflage also applied across recycled swim shorts and camp collar shirts.

The collection also features DPM: Hawaiian Bonsai Tigerstripe, inspired by the failed 2004–2005 U.S. Air Force experiment into an air force blue variation of Vietnamese Tigerstripe camouflage. After investing heavily into the programme, authorities faced criticism from servicemen who compared the uniforms to “Smurfs” or Hawaiian tourist wear. Maharishi has explored camouflage every season since its 1994 foundation, with founder Hardy Blechman further documenting its history in DPM: Disruptive Pattern Material, the 944-page encyclopedia tracing camouflage’s roots in nature and artistic development before military adoption.

Seasonal artworks include Sakura Serenity, combining sakura blossom and dragon imagery across lightweight swimwear constructed from recycled polyester, alongside Chimera graphics referencing mythological hybrid forms applied to relaxed camp collar shirts.

Throughout the collection, breathable hemp blends, recycled fabrics, lightweight construction, and functional detailing are combined with Maharishi’s ongoing reinterpretation of traditional military design.
