MAHARISHI FOR SONY PSP FASHION COLETTE LAUNCH
Colette launched PSP Fashion on 1 October 2005 to celebrate the release of the Sony PSP and invited designs from adidas, Burberry Prorsum, Chanel, Goyard, Eley Kishimoto, Pucci, Fendi, Jeremy Scott, Maharishi and Miu Miu.
Colette invited 10 designers to create PSP cases to celebrate the product launch. Maharishi created a case with a deluxe embroidered and appliqued version of their house camouflage pattern with a DPM Bonsai Forest nylon lining, accentuated with orange embroidered highlights. Available at Colette in Paris and at the Maharishi store in Covent Garden, London.
Following the success of the launch, Hardy Blechman created a second version, this time with a deluxe embroidered version of the DPM: Tibetan Elemental Tigerstripe pattern.
As part of the Colette exhibition, but not for release, Blechman also created a concept PSP case, using his DPM Nike Terminator sole to house the PSP.
