Maharishi launches its fourth collaboration with OJAS, following on from his Concealed Weapon T-Shirt for MHI, the NYC DPM book launch at Nom de Guerre in 2004, and 2023's Natural Sound Flight Suit for his HiFi Listening Room Dream No.1 show at the Lisson Gallery in London.

This latest capsule includes a selection of pacifist military inspired designs including signature Original Snopants®, an organic cotton hooded sweat, and cotton hemp record tote bag. A set of bespoke Maha olive Artbook Shelf Speakers have also been installed in the Maharishi New York store in Tribeca.

American artist Devon Turnbull, aka OJAS, is one of the co-founders of the New York creative collective Nom de Guerre. OJAS is known for his multi-disciplinary work spanning graffiti, music and design. Brought up studying transcendental meditation, spirituality has been a central element of OJAS' character, with his name drawing inspiration from Ayurvedic practice and American spiritual leader Ram Dass, author of the seminal book ‘Be Here Now'.

Having created a range of high-efficiency speakers and low-powered tube amplifiers, OJAS makes bespoke sound systems — the result of two decades of experimentation, engineering and explorations in the audio underground – a practice that began as early as middle school, when he started making sound systems from salvaged parts. Informed by his years studying meditation, he learned to harness his focus and intention, leading to transformative results on his systems, which are distinguished by their naturalistic audio quality. 

The collaboration is available online and in the London and New York Maharishi stores from Friday 13th December.
